I read a fascinating article a few weeks ago focusing on authors who self-publish their books, and printing companies who print on demand. You can find their books on Amazon, and when you order it, it sends a request to the printer, they print one up quick, looking like any other normal book, and ship it out to you. They said that this was a huge trend in the publishing world, and it would open up the industry to a lot of authors who normally wouldn't have free access to getting their work out to the public. Seems like there are a lot of similarities in the music world, and everyone benefits. Yep, I have a book of poetry out through Publish America. I don't know if it is a scam yet or not. So far everything has been just fine with what they've said. I'll find out if I get another royalty check. Only one typo, so that was awesome. We'll see! However, if it works, it was definitely worth it! Stein Auf! Bridget

Yes indeed. Keep printing on paper. Us printers really like that ;D

Well, us writers and book lovers certainly love paper, too. Computer screens just aren't the same as books. . .
