Just wanted to put the word out there to you guys that I am in the beginning stages of working on my 2nd album, the follow up to "Lower than the Angels".
At this point, I'm in the research / information gathering stages. Who will produce? Where will I record? Who will play? What songs will be on the record? What is my budget? That kind of thing...
If anyone has any thoughts on any of that stuff, please feel free to chime in.

My input: sounds like a great idea. Haha, sorry I can't be of much more help than that... umm, have you ever read shaun groves' blog? He's working on independently getting together a live recording and rebuilding his website based on fan input... I'm almost positive there aren't as many of us here as of them there, but his approach to doing it was pretty cool (kinda like Andy O's "The Morning" preorder). Yeah, I've read Shaun's site... it's good stuff. I'm actually helping with some of the technical setup stuff for the live recording since he's doing it here in Knoxville at New City Cafe. I'm excited to hear him as I'm not really all that familiar with his music.
You're right about one thing... there's not many people here compared to there... I think any attempt at a pre-order sale on my part would be an embarassment... no offense to the faithful few around here... I appreciate you so much. More than I have probably ever said on here... thank you for hanging out around here. I have no idea why you do... there are much more interesting places and people on the web to hang out with and around... I know that, and I am humbled you choose to spend some time around here with a total dork like me.
