So yeah, over the past three months I've just been pretty consistently sunk dead in love with Over the Rhine. I bought "Ohio" two or three years back, and honestly couldn't stay into it... something about it was a little dark for me, and so I gave my copy away and didn't think too much of it. I picked up a few of their albums Christmas 05, but they didn't get much air time until November of '06, and I have to say I am totally in love. The lyrics are full of such tragic beauty, and I don't think you could ask for a better combination than Karin's voice and Linford's piano. Absolutely astounding.
