Just wondering if anybody is familiar with John Davis? I saw him open for Derek Webb last year, and really enjoyed him. Apparently, he had a band called Superdrag which I had never heard of. But he totally ROCKS! (BTW, Greg, in his bio information, it says he is from Knoxville, TN.)

I went to high school with John actually! Superdrag sounds nothing like his solo record, but they were pretty cool... they were the biggest thing going here in Knoxville for awhile.
John's personal testimony is pretty powerful... he was living the life of a rockstar, that's for sure... he had a pretty wild reputation around town. Basically, one day he was driving in his car and was just overwhelmed... he pulled off the side of the road, prayed, and from that point on, he is a changed man. I don't know John... I've met him a few times and have seen him around town, but he seems like a great guy (he did even back in his Superdrag days). I really liked his solo record... it's pretty amazing in that he played almost every instrument on it.

I had never heard of him or his former band, Superdrag.
I really wish my "I" key would quit sticking on this keyboard!

BTW, Greg, John Davis will be at Joe's Java in Wilmington, OH (where you played awhile back), on the Saturday night before your concert at my church. I hope to go. Talk about back-to-back concerts!
