Alright... I'm finally up to speed. Duuuuuuude... I love it!! Jack's an unofficial merc. I was blown away by the first half hour. Couldn't believe all that was crammed into one episode. This show is better than most movies. It's got the writing, acting, production, drama, suspense, humor, action.. even a little cheesey romance which is usually a bait to blow more stuff up. Awwww man... and do I ever love, LOVE the addition of that crazy Goonie, Sam Wise Gamgee. He's already played a big role. I'm loving it Greg. Best Show on TV 5 yrs and running and it's only getting better. I hate waiting 7 days to watch it again.
If any of you guys aren't hooked on this show yet, find someone with DVR and catch up... it's the best thing going bar none.

Craig,
I agree with everything you just said. 24 blows away EVERYTHING else on TV... What separates them from other shows is their absolute willingness to kill off any major character at any time. They don't say in the commercials "Tune in this week... one major character is going to die"... no, they just at some random moment have them eat it, and you never saw it coming... when Palmer went down in that opening scene, I couldn't believe it... jaw on the floor. Not many shows can do that.

I was still reeling from Palmer going down like that and thinking.. Ok, now there's a plot twist for the season.. and then 2 minutes later Michelle and Tony are blown away. It was unbelievable. No way did Palmer, Tony and Michelle just eat it in the first 10 min!! They always keep you guessing and do an awesome job of filling in the voids left by those characters with new ones that you get hooked on. I think Jack, Tony and that bald guy at the white house are the only characters that remain from Season 1. For a show that can replace that many main characters and keep the mo going faster and faster is incredible. The only complaint I have is that the previews show too much. I don't watch them anymore. For this week, it looks like Walt is going to take it in the tailpipe. Can't wait. While Jack is at it, he should put a cap in Logan for being a terd.

I'm sorry, did he just say that Walt was going to "take it in the tailpipe?" Oh my.
My wife loves Aaron, the Secret Service agent from seasons past, so she loved this past week's episode.
It's my favorite show, although even I had to roll my eyes at Walt's "I'm not a traitor, I'm a patriot" line. Haven't heard that in 1500 other movies before...
Rudy's cracking me up, laying the smack down at CTU.

I forgot about Aaron till this past week. He's been around since Season 1 also so I guess there are 4 people that have lasted this long. Incredible. Pardon the colorful expression earlier. I agree with the comment about the "patriot" line. Walt coming forward caught me off guard but I guess he knew he could bully Logan into falling in line b/c Logan is such a mamby pamby indecisive wuss of a president. I'm betting his wife is gonna wear the pants from now on. Dude.. I forgot Sean Aston was Rudy too. You gotta love that guy.

Yo... any idea where the show is going yet? That guy with the earpiece that was organizing the airport activity has not been heard from for 3 episodes now. Where does he fit into all this? What happened to getting in contact with Kim? She's gotta get back on the show b/c she can't survive on B-horror movies and films about ex-porn stars. Is Rudy's sister going to play a role in all this mess or is it just another diversion? Will Palmer's brother come back to play a role now that Jack has been vindicated? Will the ghost of Nina Myers kill Kim when she comes back on the show? All theoretical possiblities in the minds of the creators.

I look for Kim to come back briefly only to have her dad chop off her husband's other arm, then feed it to a cougar.

Hey, this 24 thread is supposed to be clean, not vulgar. Let's keep it to discussions about torture and terrorist violence!
(Wow, is Rudy just driving me nuts lately. Last night he was whining up a storm... And I read an article that Kim is indeed coming back this season. Sure hope she thinks about her hairstyle this time, and does away with those bangs, since she's going to have to stick with it all season.)

Man.. these last two episodes have been great with the exception of Rudy. I was ecstatic to see him go. He makes one tackle for Notre Dame and helps destroy the one ring in the fires of Mt. Doom so he thinks he can go on a power trip.
