Hey there...
I know... this is a stupid idea for a thread, but seriously... which song on the record doesn't do it for you? I like them all (of course some more than others) but I think it's always fun to see which song you think would have been better off as a B-side.

I can't wait to post my answer this weekend after I've heard your album...watch out! Expect a grade for each song my friend.

Why do I have the same feeling as when my wife asks if her outfit looks good?

I'm totally serious... this isn't a "don't hurt my feelings" thing. I just thought it would be fun. I'm a big boy!
I'll start. My least favorite song on the record is Tattered old Notebook. I won't explain why, but it is. I actually like it fine, but one of them has to be the least favorite, so that's it.

"Tattered Old Notebook" is actually and honestly my least favorite. Two reasons: First, I absolutely adore "Connor's Lullaby," and, as it plays right after, "T. O. N." (for short) interrupts the mellow mood "Connor's" puts me in. Second: that's my parent's favorite song of yours. It just wouldn't be hip to like it much.

Ditto on Romantic Comedy, although it's a fun song live...

i'd probably have to say it's a tie with with Romantic Comedy and Tattered Old Notebook...ok songs but not as good as many of your other ones I don't think.

This is fun... I think it's good that you all agree... I guess that means out of 12 songs, if only 2 of them are coming up, that's pretty good.

Tattered Old Notebook. It's still awesome. And fun to do live.

Yeah, Tattered Old Notebook is the least for me. I bet it would be a lot of fun to hear live, though.

All the songs are great, but to choose a least favorite, it'd have to be "Tattered Old Notebook" even though I relate with the ideas really well, being I'm a writer and have things written EVERYWHERE. Still. . .just didn't "grab" me.

I dunno... I would have to put my vote in with "On the Edge", actually. I like it musically, but out of all the songs on my first listen through the album, I didn't really connect with this one. I guess I was cursed by reading the lyrics first, and so expected a more mellow/somber arrangement (I guess ? I dunno). Anywho... great album, thanks for putting out great, honest music.

Thanks Backstage guy... if you don't mind me asking... who are you? And hey everyone, No worries about anything you've said on this thread... it's been really interesting. Looks like Tattered Old Notebook is the leading vote getter for least favorite and I can see that totally... it's almost a different genre of music from the rest of the record. I'm already thinking alot about a new record in a year or so and my initial plans are for it to be a more piano driven acoustic sounding record. Based on your responses on this thread and the favorite songs thread, that should be more in line with everyone's taste, and you guys all know that I'm all about playing to whatever is popular!
